Join us October 14, 2017 at Fox Ridge Equestrian Center in Mims, FL for a journey through an Icelandic tale of epic bravery and unparalleled heroism. Compete for glory in a contest of strength or skill. Hunt the hills far and wide and collect the stones of the river Gjöll. Feast upon the food of the Æsir. Attend the skálds at the fireside as they recite tales of old.
The road to returning Baldr to the land of the living is a long and perilous one, and then there are the trials of Hel to attend before the noble hero might return to Valhalla.
Heavy fighters have the opportunity to contest to see which shall overcome the mistletoe and claim for himself the glory of the Æsir and a ring of Draupnir.

Gather up your best slop-in-the-mud camping garb and join us for a day of equestrian fun! Do note that those with mobility issues will experience difficulties in navigating the terrain!
​
Site is still available for Friday arrival for anyone hauling in horses.
Friday primitive camping is Mundane and IS NOT considered part of the SCA's activities.

Site Fee: $11 ($5 member discount)

Lunch: $5 pulled chicken or pork plate, chips, and tea or sekanjabin (bring a mug!)

Site is primitive and does not include running water or electricity. BE WARNED that due to recent rains, the footing is soggy, wet, and muddy!
​
EQUESTRIANS: If bringing a horse on-site, you must have a current HARD COPY of their Coggins to be collected at Troll for the site owner's records. No Coggins, no entry.
​
IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIES and do not have access to a horse, please make arrangements with an equestrian beforehand.
